What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced as Ray-Key) is a gentle energy medicine modality that is a simple, natural and safe system of healing to address almost all health and wellness issues. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese characters: Rei which means “Divine Wisdom or Higher Power” and Ki which is “Life force energy” also known as Prana or Qi.
It is used widely in many hospitals and hospice and other treatment settings as it works well in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to enhance and promote physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. It also creates a sense of spiritual connection and centering within. Reiki sessions can be given to clients of any age either in person or at a distance.
Your practitioner is certified, trained and attuned in advanced forms of Reiki to facilitate powerful healing sessions for clients. In a Reiki session, healing Reiki Energy is transmitted to the client on different areas of the body that require specific healing. Holy Fire II and Karuna Reiki was recently introduced by the ICRT. Reiki is powerful yet gentle and heals through purification, empowerment and guidance. It is a combination of traditional Usui Reiki and a modern evolution of Reiki.
