Pranayama is a systematic yogic based set of breath practices that help regulate your vital energy and balance your nervous system. Prana is your vital energy or life force that nourishes the physical and subtle layers of your being, and keeps you alive.

Pranayama is the ability to regulate this flow of Prana (or life force = Qi) through the breath. Practices taught involve specific patterns of inhalation, breath retention, exhalation as well as mudras (hand gestures) and Bandhas (energetic locks).

Workshops are livestreamed and you will be taught classical Pranayama practices teach to strengthen your respiratory system and release toxins.

Pranayama is ideally done on an empty stomach and in the morning before breakfast. Pregnant women must exercise caution before these practices and must modify them to avoid any risk to pregnancy. Pranayama practices are to be avoided during the first 4 days of menstruation.
