Yoga Nidra literally means Yogic Sleep.  This yogic practice is a form of meditation and mind-body awareness practice that, rotates through  different points in the body. It is a guided relaxation that typically is done for 30-45 minutes where you are guided into a deep healing state between sleeping and being awake. This complete relaxation practice can be done at the end of your work day to bring about deep rest and healing to the mind-body.

Yoga Nidra restores the  nervous system and quietens the mind to enable us to feel wholeness, tranquility, and well-being and reach a profound level of relaxation. It is a great practice for those suffering from insomnia and other sleep disturbance issues.

The practice helps engage and adopt an attitude of surrender and letting go.

Yoga Nidra enhances body awareness, and works compassionately with thoughts and emotions as they arise, gradually leading the practitioner to access a greater field of awareness.

We will finish with a brief Chakra balance meditation to establish connection to the Quantum Self within.
